Bridge Quest Academy is a microschool built for curious thinkers, hands on learners, and kids who thrive through real world exploration. As a microschool, we create an intimate, connected learning community where every student is known well and supported through personalized pathways, direct instruction, and meaningful project based experiences. Our small, intentional environment allows each child to be seen, supported, and challenged in ways that build confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging.
Our path to Bridge Quest Academy is rooted in more than 30 years of work in education, behavior science, and innovative school design. Our founder, Jeanine Wilkinson, has played a key role in building successful learning environments across the Bay Area and in developing programming that has strengthened both public and private schools. The expertise gained through this work shapes every element of BQA and allows us to create a microschool that blends proven practices with fresh, student centered innovation.

We’ve chosen the otter as our mascot because it reflects everything we believe great learning should be: playful, curious, creative, and full of heart. Otters are known for their joy, teamwork, and clever problem-solving. Our learners grow in similar ways as they explore big ideas, work together, and adapt challenges with resilience and a growth mindset. Whether they are building, questioning, imagining, or caring for one another, our learners are becoming thoughtful and capable leaders. The otter reminds us that learning can be meaningful and fun, and that every learner deserves to feel safe, supported, and inspired every step of the way.
